This is Capt Steve with the fishing report for the St Johns River.

I had Mike and Tom out on the water Mike and I have fished the river before and we caught some Hybrid Stripers.

The Hybrid bite wasn’t as good this time of year as when Mike and me went out before but we went out and it was cloudy out and the hybrids don’t like to come up because the shiners don’t come up to the surface.

But we brought some shiners with us and we caught some Bass but no Stripers we couldn’t find them any where, and we tried to find some larger bass on the beds but that was quite difficult too but we still had a good time and I hope to see them again sometime.
